CEO and Executive Coach for Startup Founders Building at Scale

I'm Sabrina Wang. I provide executive coaching for startup founders from seed through Series C who are scaling fast but starting to feel the weight of it.

You've raised the money. Built the team. Hit the milestones.

So why does it feel harder than it should?

You're stuck in the weeds, firefighting instead of leading. Your team isn't operating at the level you need. You're exhausted, and the tradeoff between work and life is starting to feel unsustainable.

You've read the books. Hired the advisors. But something's still missing.

Here's what I've learned coaching dozens of founders: The problem isn't your strategy. It's that you're running faster than your nervous system can handle.

I'm Sabrina Wang

I’m an executive coach to CEOs, CTOs, and cofounders scaling fast. I grew up in Chengdu, moved to the U.S. alone at 16, and built my career through Big Four accounting, tech sales, and product leadership at Headspace.

  • Former Head of Coaching at Mochary Method (coaching practice for CEOs of Reddit, OpenAI, Coinbase)
  • 10 years of training in meditation, nervous system regulation, and somatic work
  • Product at Headspace, building products for 1M+ users
  • I've navigated my own chronic illness, which taught me more about stress, energy, and resilience than any book

I work at the intersection of strategy and inner patterns, because those are usually the same problem. I take on founders selectively, when I’m confident about creating real impact.

What makes this different?

Most executive coaches will help you optimize your calendar and give better feedback.

I do that too. But I also help you regulate the stress that comes with high-stakes decisions, build the capacity to lead without burning out, and reconnect with the energy that made you start this in the first place.

What this means for you: I see patterns fast. I understand both the tactical (hiring, OKRs, team dynamics) and the internal (why you're stuck, what's draining you, how to get your energy back).

Startup leadership is different. You're moving faster, with less certainty, and higher stakes than ever.

Whether you're at pre-seed or Series A making your first exec hires, Series B building out your leadership team, or Series C navigating a potential acquisition, you need someone who understands the weight of what you're carrying.

CEO coaching isn't about fixing you. It's about having space to think clearly when everything around you is moving too fast.

How I Work With Founders and Execs

I work with clients in phases, typically 6 months per engagement. Some founders work with me once for 1-2 years, stacking multiple engagements. Others come back for years when they hit new inflection points.Every engagement is different, but here are some common focus areas:

Hiring & Team Building

Making critical exec hires (and knowing when NOT to hire - one client saved months by deciding not to hire a COO after we mapped out what the company actually needed)

Building high-performing leadership teams

Learning to coach your team instead of doing their work

Strategic Clarity

Moving from constant reactivity to planning 18-36 months out

Learning to say no and protect time for strategic thinking

Making high-stakes decisions with confidence

Energy & Capacity

Regulating your nervous system so you can handle the pressure without burning out

Delegating effectively so you're not stuck in execution mode

Finding joy and creativity in your work again

Cofounder Dynamics

Navigating major decisions together

Building trust that can handle hard conversations

Aligning on vision when you're in different places

Who Is This A Good Fit For?

You're probably not a good fit if

You're looking for quick fixes or tactical advice only

You want someone to tell you exactly what to do

You're not willing to look at your own patterns and blind spots

You're earlier than seed stage or don't have the budget for ongoing coaching

You're likely a good fit if

You're a CEO, CTO, or cofounder of a pre-seed, Series A, B, or C company looking for executive coaching. Or you bootstrapped with 20+ employees and meaningful revenue

You're not satisfied with how you or your team are operating

You care about doing things the right way - high performance AND treating people well

You're open to feedback and want to be challenged

You've done some personal development work before (therapy, coaching, leadership training)
